Caroline Blundell- Line Dance Caller
Since 1986, Caroline Blundell has been lighting up dance floors across Cape Town and the Western Cape with her unforgettable Barn dances. She learned the art of Calling (that’s the person on stage giving dance instructions) from none other than her father, the legendary entertainer Keith Blundell.
Before taking the mic herself, Caroline played guitar and mandolin in her father’s Barndance band and was a regular in the family’s spirited Square-dance demo team – a hands-on, foot-tapping apprenticeship in rhythm, crowd work, and fun. Today, she brings that same infectious energy and deep love of music and movement to every event. With a warm, easygoing style, she walks guests through each dance step-by-step before the music kicks in, ensuring that everyone – from seasoned dancers to absolute beginners –
feels confident and ready to let loose.
Her line dances are full of laughter, connection, and a genuine good time – the kind of nights
